Solo XT General Description

• Ideal for locations with no AC Power

• Used with our indestructible hydraulic load cells

• Immune to failures caused by lightning strikes and power surges

The Solo XT uses our exclusive Cross Technology™ to merge hydraulic load cells with a battery powered digital display. Because no AC power is required, installation becomes simple, quick and economical by eliminating the need for a costly electrician.

Two standard C cell flashlight batteries power the indicator for up to 4000 hours of continuous display time. The display automatically powers down after a set period or can be instantly shut off by pressing the button a second time. On our 12-36 VDC model with 4-20mA output, the batteries automatically back up the digital display should a loss of power occur.

Menu driven operation, keypad control, backlighting and bar graph display make the Solo XT simple to use and operate in any chlorination or chemical feed application.

The Solo XT is compatible with the following Scales

Chlor-Scale

Chlor-Scale ton container scale for use with 1 or 2 tanks.

Chlor-Scale 150

Solo G2 General Description

The SOLO G2 digital indicator provides a simple and economical way to measure chemical usage and inventory when combined with our platform scales, tank weighing assemblies or ultrasonic sensors. The SOLO G2 displays the amount of chemical remaining in your tank, cylinder or hopper on a 2-line backlit LCD display. Both single and dual channel models are available allowing cost savings when there are multiple vessels to be monitored from one location.

The popularity of the SOLO G2 is due to its reliability and ease of operation. All parameter adjustments are menu prompted on the display and are done via the keypad so opening the enclosure to access DIP switches or potentiometers as some indicators require is never necessary. In addition to the net amount displayed as a value, a 0-100% bar graph display allows quick visual reference to the amount in tank.

When used to monitor chemical in portable tanks or cylinders, a dedicated TARE key allows either tare or net weight to easily be adjusted so that only the true chemical weight is displayed.

The SOLO G2 is always pre-calibrated at the factory and ready to use right out of the box. If re-calibration of the indicator in the field is desired, a simple, menu-prompted procedure is all that is needed. To see other menu items, click on the MENU keys on the SOLO G2 simulator below.

For maximum durability, the SOLO G2 is housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure which offers superior protection against harsh environments such as chemical rooms and outdoor installations. With an included 4-20mA output for each channel, every SOLO G2 is SCADA or PLC ready. Options include dry contact alarm relays, battery backup, and communication via MODBUS, ETHERNET and PROFIBUS DP.

Wizard 4000 General Description

IT'S NOT JUST A SCALE, IT'S AN ENTIRE CHEMICAL INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The Wizard 4000+ is an extremely powerful chemical inventory management system for monitoring chlorine gas, sodium hypochlorite, hydrofluosilicic acid and all other chemicals used in water treatment. The Wizard 4000+ helps insure a safe process and a safe plant by providing essential information such as current chemical feed rate, how much chemical has been fed, and how much chemical remains. The Wizard 4000+ can be used with any of our scales and ultrasonic sensors, easily converts any existing Force Flow hydraulic scale to a digital multi-function system and can be used with most electronic load cell based weighing systems.

CHEMICAL INVENTORY MANAGER
Because the Wizard 4000+ has four separate channels, it can be used to simultaneously monitor levels in up to four separate tanks. This means that you can monitor each tank independently as well as get the combined totals for all the tanks. The "Daily Usage" data logging function allows for easy record keeping and a "Days Until Empty" function makes it simple to anticipate tank refilling and chemical reorder points. Flexible software allows the user to monitor chemicals in Lbs, Kgs, Gallons, Liters or Percent of Full.

CHEMICAL FLOW METER
A "Feed Rate" function allows the operator to monitor chemical feed rates, which can be alarmed or transmitted via a 4-20 ma signal. This important feature allows early warning of dangerously low or high feed rate conditions and therefore prevents hazardous under or overdosing of chemicals to your water supply.

LIQUID LEVEL/PUMP CONTROLLER
The Wizard provides up to four set points, each triggering dry or solid-state relays. These relays can be programmed for high or low level alarms, automating chemical transfer from bulk to day tanks or diluting chemicals down from their full strength. These features prevent the hazards of running out of chemicals or accidental overfilling of tanks.

The Wizard 4000 is compatible with the following Scales/Sensors:

Chlor-Scale

Chlor-Scale ton container scale for use with 1 or 2 tanks.

Chlor-Scale 150

Chlor-Scale 150 for weighing 150 lb cylinders containing chlorine or SO2.

SpillSafe LX

Hypo Trak General Description

Feeding and tracking sodium hypochlorite usage in municipal water treatment systems has presented a challenge for end users for many years.  First, sodium hypochlorite degrades over time which makes inventory control and usage documentation very tricky.  Secondly, when hypo degrades, it releases gas bubbles that can often get trapped in feed tubing and pumps causing inconsistent feed and in some cases a “vapor lock” of the pump itself.  Lastly, as sodium hypochlorite loses strength, it forms byproducts called chlorates.  Chlorates are known to impair thyroid function, and therefore regulatory officials are beginning to regulate how much chlorate can be in the water supply, and more specifically, how much chlorate can be contributed to the water supply from the source sodium hypochlorite.

By integrating specialized software with our simple weighing / level display, the Hypo Trak can easily monitor the following:

1) an inconsistent or no feed rate condition via loss in weight (or level) to warn of a vapor locked pump,

2) integrated timers that track how old the hypo is to warn of an excessive chlorate condition,

3) degradation curves that allow you to track your hypo strength over time as it loses strength and

4) conversions that allow you to view & track your hypo in terms of 100% pure chlorine gas to simplify inventory control, PPM calculations, and usage documentation.

The Hypo Trak is compatible with the following Scales/Sensors

Chlor-Scale

Chlor-Scale ton container scale for use with 1 or 2 tanks.
